Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery
- Coordinate with warehouse team for order readiness and vehicle allocation
- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure route adherence
- Manage and coordinate with transport vendors and drivers
- Ensure maximum vehicle utilization and reduce empty runs
- Track delays, breakdowns, and take corrective actions
- Maintain records of dispatch, routes, and delivery status
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety norms
- Work on cost optimization and improve route efficiency
- Handle escalations related to delays or delivery issues
Qualifications
Required skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in logistics/transport
- 2–5 years experience in transport or logistics operations
- Good knowledge of route planning and local geography
- Hands-on experience with Excel / TMS (Transport Management System)
